This is a demonstration of my handmade Philodendrone that is based on the MIDI Plant circuit board. The Philodendrone reads the biodata from plants and translates it into MIDI notes through an arduino. In this video it is running through Ableton LIVE to create a soundscape. It is named the Philodendrone as it was originally made and tested for a Philodendron. This is apt as it was part of my Doctorate in Philosophy that tackled the question of noise practice in the digital age and it is often left to drone.
